11.12.07 - Cosmetic Pioneer Snowberry Lane Clinic Expands with Tetbury Hospital opening
Snowberry Lane Clinic, Wiltshire-based specialist in minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures, is opening up a Saturday morning clinic, based at Tetbury Hospital. The cutting edge clinic will begin by offering SmartLipo, a popular minimally-invasive fat removal method, and Radio Frequency Surgery, a high-tech way to tackle raised skin blemishes.
The procedures will be carried out by Dr Malcolm Gerald, a practising local GP. Dr Malcolm Gerald commented: "The Tetbury clinic will give access to some of the latest cosmetic surgery procedures at a comfortable local clinic. As a practising GP, clients can rest assured that they are accessing the highest standards of care."
He added, "SmartLipo is revolutionising liposculpture as we know it today. Not only is it minimally invasive, but it is performed under local anaesthetic and it is safer and far less aggressive than traditional liposuction – with smoother results. Most patients are able to carry out their day to day activities immediately after the procedure. We look forward to introducing this ground-breaking treatment to Gloucestershire."
Also on offer is technologically advanced Radio Frequency Surgery for the removal of moles and other unsightly skin blemishes, particularly on the face. It is a safe and elegant method for removing raised skin lesions without cuts or stitches, giving excellent cosmetic results. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and takes as little as 10-15 minutes.
Dr Gerald adds "I am not aware of a technique which remotely approaches Radio Frequency Surgery in terms of results and I believe we will be the only people offering it in the county".
