What is Cosmetic Laser Surgery?
Cosmetic laser surgery is a non-invasive technique for treatment of skin conditions. A hand held laser is passed over the area of skin to be treated generating heat energy to alter the appearance of the skin. It is suitable for all types and colours of skin and is a safe and effective procedure.

There are minimal risks to health and patients can expect to resume normal activities immediately following completion of most treatments. It is safe and effective with often staggering results.

What treatments are available?
Photo Rejuvenation (non-surgical facelift) Say goodbye to wrinkles! Laser treatments can reverse the signs of ageing on the hands, face, neck and chest. Lines are minimised by tightening of the skin and the size of pores are reduced. Results are a fresher, brighter and more toned skin, giving you a new, more radiant look. Skin blemishes, freckles and age spots can also be effectively treated.

Treatment of Adult Acne
The treatment of acne with cosmetic laser is an exciting new development which has been shown in research to be effective in conjunction with other treatments.

The laser acts on the bacterial porphyrins to give excellent results which last several months between treatments.

Micro Laser Peel
The hand held laser vaporises the surface of the skin leaving newer, younger looking skin to come to the surface. This method is used to treat areas of the hands, face and neck for deeper lines and wrinkles, particularly for skin conditions that are a result of the ageing process.

Side effects are minimal and involve a slight greying of the skin which is removed at the end of the treatment to leave a mildly reddened skin. After one or two days the skin colour returns to normal and appears fresher.

Permanent Hair Reduction
At last there is a real solution to unwanted hair without the inconvenience of tweezing, shaving, waxing or using depilatory creams. Results are far longer lasting and treatments are quick and easy.

The simple procedure sends a laser beam through the skin to reach the hair follicle under the surface of the skin. The follicles are destroyed by heat generated by the laser energy. The laser beam has a large diameter so reaches several hair follicles at one time.

Only hair follicles that are in their growing cycle will be affected and so a number of treatments are recommended over a period of a few weeks to ensure the best results.

So, throw your razors and creams away, cancel that waxing appointment and come on down to enjoy the freedom that permanent hair reduction treatments have to offer. It’s your passport to smooth silky skin!

Removal of leg and facial veins
You don’t have to live with unsightly leg or facial veins any more. Thanks to new laser technology unattractive red or purple veins can be eliminated quickly and safely leaving an overall clearer and more attractive skin appearance.

A laser beam is passed through the surface of the skin to reach the blood vessels causing the vessel walls to collapse and later dissolve within the body. Unsightly vessels of all types, including those tiny matted red facial vessels which are symptoms of rosacea will respond to this kind of treatment.

Immediately following the treatment, veins may alter to appear a light red colour which will fade within a couple of hours.

The number of treatments required will vary depending on the severity of the veins but usually one to three sessions are all that is required over six week intervals.
