What is Alevere Therapy?

Alevere Therapy is a weight loss treatment plan that is medically supervised. It uses a combination of a detailed diet plan based on the individual, a number of non-surgical treatments on the body and a stabilisation of insulin production in the body to provide a boosted weight loss process that also ensures the body can naturally adapt and allow for one’s skin not to be affected by change. This two tier approach to weight loss helps the body to transform positively without the associated risks of diets and areas of the body not responding well to weight loss. It is also a treatment option for individuals who don’t want to go down the route of interventional surgery to lose weight.

What does Alevere entail?

There are two strands to the treatment: a well thought out and controlled nutritional plan, along with a series of non-surgical and no-invasive ultrasound treatments and LPG treatments. This can ensure that patients lose weight safely, securely and effectively. Weight loss differs depending on the patient. On average, patients aim to lose 3 to 4 stone over a three-month treatment plan, although this number could be higher or lower depending on how well a consultant can gauge a potential patient’s response to this lifestyle change will be. Certain measurements like metabolic rate and a blood test can help give the team an idea of how much weight can be lost safely over a short period of time.

What makes Alevere different from other weight loss treatment plans?

There are a number of considerably different ways in which Alevere is unique and unlike other weight loss treatments. The primary difference is that every single patient has to follow an individual nutritional plan that is crafted solely for that person. Because no two people are the same, weight loss paths that follow a blanket approach are difficult to understand and adhere to. Alevere involves a deep level of consultative analysis to understand a patient’s body and figure out how to deliver fast results that aid weight loss. It’s our aim to help make weight loss stay consistent and deliver results that can easily be seen. Another big difference is that Alevere can be considered a positive lifestyle change. Even after a patient comes to the end of their treatment path, maintaining the lifestyle and keeping to this nutrient rich diet should come easily when compared to traditional diet paths that can become tedious.

What can Alevere do that other treatments can’t?

Supervised and controlled weight loss is something that Alevere can help an individual strive for with a focus on the body’s chemistry that other weight loss plans can’t effectively match. Fat loss can be very difficult when someone doesn’t know how their insulin levels or metabolic rate act naturally and what exactly that does in your body. Alevere works to naturally improve these often stubborn traits to control the rate and help the body effectively burn fat in a much safer manner than similar treatments. This, combined with a plan of action for the use of an ultrasound body contouring treatment to firm up skin that could become saggy and loose after weight loss, makes the treatment quite unique.

Is the Alevere diet plan restrictive?

A surprising element of Alevere is the fact that it in part doesn’t need to be referred to as a diet. The term implies a level of restriction and for patients following this journey, they may find themselves eating more than they’re used to. A big focus of this is on eating foods that boost the metabolic rate and lower insulin, so someone can expect to eat a lot more vegetables and fruit that will stabilise blood sugar levels and help curb those troublesome cravings that can lead a person back to unhealthy food and familiar habits. The diet is colourful too. If you take a look at our Alevere food gallery, you’ll see dishes that you wouldn’t ever see on a normal diet. A big focus is placed on the level of carbohydrates and fats a person can consume, in order to help stimulate the lipolysis that can break down fat cells for the body to burn and use as energy.

How fast is weight loss for a patient?

Every personal experience Alevere creates means that people will lose weight differently. It is generally expected that a person will lose approximately 1 to 2 stone a month and we carry out a lot of pre-emptive analysis to gauge what a patient will lose on a weekly basis. This way it brings a level of deliverability to weight loss that you usually don’t get.

Do I need treatments as well as the diet plan?

Yes. To boost the efficiency of weight loss in the body and ensure that someone isn’t left with loose skin or saggy areas, medical ultrasound treatments are used. One of the reasons for this treatment is to help tackle the problem of fatty deposits underneath skin that just don’t ever see change during a diet. These problem areas usually have trouble as they are parts of the body where blood has a hard time circulating, and thus fat is potentially calcified to a point where it needs ultrasound waves to loosen up. And when the fat is disrupted to a point where it wants to leave, the breakdown is accelerated and fat is used up as energy thanks to the controlled diet a patient is on. To help keep skin stimulated too, LPG treatments improve lymphatic drainage, accelerate how broken down fat can get in to the lymphatic system and help make the work put in to weight loss visible on the outside.

Are there any side effects?

Alevere is non-surgical and thus has a drastically reduced risk level when compared to other weight loss treatments. With quick weight loss there is concern on things like blood pressure. Luckily the diet plan works to control this on a consistent level and help avoid the risk of high spikes and deep lows. Regarding the ultrasound treatment, the only effects will be positive as a patient will not incur the potential problems that traditional diets run the risk off. Alevere ensures that the risk of slack skin under the arms, legs and around the belly isn’t possible thanks to the ultrasound and LPG treatments which stimulate the body for collagen growth. It is quite common for patients to want to continue with in clinic treatments after they finish the Alevere journey to help keep skin firm and tight after losing weight.

What makes someone eligible for Alevere Therapy?

Whether or not Alevere will be suitable for someone depends on a number of factors. Before we even begin the journey, a consultation with our team and blood tests will help us figure out what the best course of action to take is. Because this is a bespoke approach to weight loss, every single person is assessed on their own credentials. How effective the end result will be is based on the level of eligibility, and level of presumed weight loss, a person will have.

The principles of Alevere Therapy have been developed by our medical doctors with detailed attention to optimising the body’s chemistry for rapid, effective and continuous breakdown of stored body fat whilst preserving the body’s muscle tissue and preventing suppression of the body’s metabolic rate during the weight loss.

The treatment has been carefully designed to keep insulin production fully suppressed to baseline levels (since any rise in insulin production immediately inhibits the breakdown of body fat) and to stabilise the blood glucose at constant and normal levels at all times throughout the weight loss. As a result, on the Alevere Therapy®, you will not feel hungry, weak or lethargic and you will not have food cravings. You will have sufficient energy and will be able to exercise and function as normal. There will be no dizziness, light-headedness or other unpleasant effects from the weight loss. Your weight loss will be rapid enough to keep you motivated; in fact we aim for a rate of weight loss of between 6 and 12kg (13 to 26 lbs) per month for most patients. The weight loss on the treatment programme is remarkably predictable and your expected rate of weight loss is therefore calculated for you by the doctor at your very first consultation before you start the treatment.

If you’ve been looking for an effective and permanent way to lose weight then Alevere Therapy®is what you’ve been looking for, fast weight loss without having excess skin problems afterwards. Call us and book an appointment on 01225 700072 and we can start to help you transform your life.
