This time of year is one of the hardest on our skin as we find ourselves with cracked lips, rough skin on our hands and pores that are dry. Snowberry Lane Clinic has over a decade’s experience in helping patients deal with all kinds of skin issues. That is why we thought it would be a great idea for this week’s blog to pass on some of our most simple skin tips as well as some treatment options for people who have more prominent issues.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
Because of the colder weather we are exposed to environments that are being artificially heated, which can lead our skin to dry out. We highly recommend that you invest in a decent moisturiser to replenish and hydrate your skin. And if you’re someone who spends a lot of their time outdoors in the autumn and winter, you should use a moisturiser with SPF, in fact the best rule is wearing a moisturiser with SPF all year round.
Medical Microdermabrasion
Medical Microdermabrasion is a treatment that uses no lasers or chemicals. It involves passing a fine collection of medical grade crystals over the skin’s surface using a hand held device. The technique gently removes the dead skin cells on the surface and smoothes the surface of the skin through a process of exfoliation. The new, living skin cells beneath this top layer are revealed to present a younger, more rejuvenated appearance.
Photo Rejuvenation
The video above showcases a highly effective and unique treatment we provide patients searching for the chance to really rejuvenate tired skin. We carry out a very advanced treatment, which uses light pulses as a way to greatly improve the appearance of everything from blotchy patches of skin to areas of redness.
