As of today, Monday the 23rd of March 2020, we have decided to close the doors of the Clinic. We will keep the doors closed until the climate changes and we can operate again safely.
We did not take this decision lightly, we have a wonderful team of committed and hard-working staff who wanted to ensure that we honoured our clients appointments for as long as possible. However, given how quickly the situation in the UK is progressing we feel that we need to close in order to help the national effort to stop the spread of the virus.
In many ways it was an incredibly difficult decision and in many ways it was incredibly easy. The decision was easy because fundamentally we are a medically led clinic, our leadership team is made up of Doctors and Nurses who have, and still do, work for the NHS. As this situation unfolds and escalates our number one priority beyond all else is to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our staff, clients and their families.
We truly hope that this decision will help to support our staff and clients to practice Social Distancing and save lives. We hope that you understand and support this decision and will continue to support us throughout this difficult time and when we re-open. We will keep our normal lines of communication open and will keep you updated with any news and changes that effect you.
We cannot thank you enough for your understanding, it’s a very difficult and emotional time for everyone and we hope you are able to stay safe and healthy and navigate these times as best you can.

As Snowberry Lane Clinic, the safety and well-being of our clients and staff is at the heart of our business. In this period of uncertainty, with things changing on a daily basis, we wanted to update you on our response. We have put clear measures in place to protect our team, our clients and the wider community. The doors of the Clinic are still very much open to welcome you, however, we’re continuing to review our practices on a daily basis and identify opportunities to take further steps to keep everyone safe.

On behalf of everyone here at Snowberry Lane Clinic we hope that you and your family are all healthy and well.
We want to keep you updated as the situation with COVID-19 changes, currently we are open as usual and honouring all of our Client’s appointments, we intend to do this for as long as possible. We will of course react accordingly to any updates and keep you informed.
As you know we are a medical establishment under the regulation of the Care Quality Commission so we uphold the highest hygiene and health and safety standards. We will follow all Government advice and guidelines, as well as take every precaution necessary to minimise the risk to our team and our clients as we combat this global epidemic.
We have full confidence in our ability to deliver our service to our usual high standard. We have a robust IT infrastructure that some employees can access whilst working from home if necessary and we will always have a member of the Senior Management Team available on the phone to help.

No doubt you’re feeling some level of confusion and anxiety around the whirlwind of COVID-19 news at the moment. We are doing all that we can to keep up-to-date with any developments that effect the day-to-day running of the Clinic and will be posting updates here. We are a medically led facility, registered with the Care Quality Commission, so it is of the utmost importance that we uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Since the onset of COVID-19 we have taken the following steps to reduce the risk to our clients:
- There are tissues and hand gel available throughout the clinic.
- We are removing unnecessary items that could be exposed via frequent contact such as the magazines in the waiting room.
- We are going to encourage all of our clients to spread out in the waiting areas, between the main reception, the porch and upstairs.
- Our staff fully understand the self-isolation protocols and will not be coming into the clinic if they experience symptoms.
If you or a family member experience a high temperature or a new, continuous cough please do not attend the clinic and follow these steps in accordance with NHS and Government advice:
- Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
- You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
- Yourself and immediate family members need to self-isolate for 14 days.
- After 7 days, if you have not had any signs of improvement and have not already sought medical advice, contact NHS 111 online, or call NHS 111.

With COVID-19 developing in so many countries around the world, our commitment is to adhere to the strictest of W.H.O advice, and the protocols advised by local and international authorities.
It is of vital importance for us to be in a position to ensure that any and all procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of our clients, this is our absolute priority. All of our employees are fully aware of the current requirements and are working to ensure the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained, throughout every aspect of our clinic so that you can continue to attend appointments with confidence.
If you’re feeling under the weather, or have recently returned from, or been with someone from an affected area, for the safety of everyone, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment until after you’re feeling better.
