What is a non-surgical facelift?
For many people the idea of a facelift involves surgical manipulation of the muscles into a forced contraction. However, this isn’t what we do here at Snowberry Lane Clinic. We favour minimally invasive procedures that work on the surface of the skin to improve the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and decreased volume without signs of the treatment having been carried out. A non-surgical facelift works to encourage collagen production under the surface of the skin helping to create a more youthful appearance.

Why would someone opt for a non-surgical facelift?
It is true that traditional facelifts carry a certain level of risk without guaranteed results. Through our approach, we aim to establish the kind of improvements we can make to the skin and how best to achieve them whilst limiting damage, reducing risks and minimising recovery time.
Are there particular methods commonly used?
Facetite is our most well known non-invasive treatment, which uses radio frequency technology to encourage tightening. We believe it’s a great technology as it is safe (the same technology is used in MRI machines) and so versatile for use on different skin areas.
Another very popular treatment we use in this area is Forma. It too promotes the growth of collagen in the skin by raising the temperature on the surface by just a few degrees above regular. Through a very precise pad placed over a problem area, it helps the skin to regain some elasticity and we find it works wonders for patients who have laughter lines.
