Tixel treatment now offered at Snowberry Lane Clinic

We now offer a new treatment for tone, texture and small scars called Tixel, it is the most advanced fractional thermo-mechanical treatment providing anti-ageing improvements on skin tone and texture for a more radiant appearance.

With Tixel treatment the discomfort of treatment and recovery period is kept to an absolute minimum.

Tixel can be used in areas that have fine or deeper wrinkles, scars or discolored red and brown skin tone. The most common areas of treatment are the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

Tixel can help to tighten saggy skin on the eyelids, face, neck, décolleté and hands. The procedure uses a technology known as fractional thermo-mechanical treatment.

The skin is treated by placing a small hand-piece against the skin, a tiny ceramic and titanium head heated to 400 degrees centigrade is automatically applied to the skin for a fraction of a second when the trigger is squeezed.

Upon brief contact with the skin, thermal energy is transferred to the upper skin layers, creating micron size pores creating an effect similar to fractional lasers.

This results in tighter firmer, younger looking skin. Lines and wrinkles are filled out, superficial sun spots and thread veins disappear, skin looks firmer and tighter.
