The beauty of our earlobe repair with radio surgery is that it uses the latest cosmetic radio surgery technology to achieve optimum results from a local anaesthetic procedure. Patients can look forward to a speedy return to normal activities following earlobe repair treatments. Radio surgery leaves minimum scarring and results are superior to other more conventional surgery. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and requires a few tiny stitches which are removed after five days.

Dr Gabriel has over 20 years experience in this innovative, safe and effective technique. Some of the more common queries he receives are listed below to give a fuller understanding of exactly what happens before, during and after the mole removal.
What is Cosmetic Radio Surgery and how does it work?
Radio surgery is a modern and elegant method of surgery using radiowaves transmitted via a delicate tungsten electrode rather than a scalpel achieving great precision and minimal bleeding during the procedure.
Is there any risk to my health or are there any side effects?
The procedure itself is very safe although no surgery is entirely without its element of risk. However, we take a full medical history before we proceed to ensure this risk is minimised. Unfortunately this procedure is not suitable for people with pacemakers.
Will I need to take time off work?
It is usually possible for you to return to work immediately after the procedure.
Will I feel any pain once the anaesthetic has worn off?
Any pain you feel will be minimal. This can be alleviated by taking simple pain killers such as paracetamol.
How long will it take for the area being treated to recover?
The sutures are removed at five days and the wound should heal within three to four weeks, a dressing is usually only required for the first few hours.
