How does it work?

During your consultation, a bespoke plan will be recommended to you in order to address your needs and concerns.

Utilising a small heated ceramic grid of 81 intricate pyramids located on the head of a handheld device is placed onto the skin in a controlled method. This achieves various results such as skin tightening and resurfacing – all without the need of anaesthetic aids. The machine only touches the skin for a fraction of a second when the trigger is squeezed.

Treatment occurs when the small hand-piece is placed against the skin. Upon brief contact with the skin, thermal energy is transferred to the upper skin layers, creating micron size pores creating an effect similar to fractional CO₂ lasers.

The results

The results from Tixel reveal in tighter firmer, younger looking skin. Lines and wrinkles are filled out, superficial sun spots and thread veins are reduced, skin looks firmer and tighter. Aftercare

With Tixel treatment, the discomfort of treatment and the recovery period is kept to an absolute minimum. For the patient to achieve the best result possible, it is advised to give up smoking as this may result in diminished effects.

There may be micro-scabs a few days after treatment. Some results will be seen immediately, but improvement continues up to 3 to 6 months after treatment. Patients should undergo 3-5 sessions for best results, followed by top-up sessions every few years.
