Tixel benefits

Using thermal fractional skin rejuvenation technology, this device targets regions across the skin such as forehead lines, eyelid lines, folds between the mouth and nose, creased chin, neck folds and lip lines.

Many of our customers come to us complaining about thin and wrinkled skin and crow’s feet around the eyes. Tixel is ideal for these common problems due to this treatment due to the adaptable device used , which is placed right up to the lash line.

Saggy skin on the neck and hands can also be treated by Tixel. The procedure itself aims to tighten the skin in order to improve lines, wrinkles, sagging and dilated pores. Acne sufferers can also enjoy benefits from Tixel as one of the best options for reducing the scars left behind by acne.

Patients can also expect the treatment to regenerate and revitalise in order to even the skin tone, reduce problematic pigmentation, and lessen irritating blemishes - ultimately producing a healthy glow. Skin discolouration will see improvements. The body’s response to the treatment is minimal and quick due to the reduction in ‘charring’ (carbonisation) which frequently occurs with older methods of this procedure.

How does it work?

During your consultation, a bespoke plan will be recommended to you in order to address your needs and concerns.

Utilising a small heated ceramic grid of 81 intricate pyramids located on the head of a handheld device is placed onto the skin in a controlled method. This achieves various results such as skin tightening and resurfacing – all without the need of anaesthetic aids. The machine only touches the skin for a fraction of a second when the trigger is squeezed.

Treatment occurs when the small hand-piece is placed against the skin. Upon brief contact with the skin, thermal energy is transferred to the upper skin layers, creating micron size pores creating an effect similar to fractional C02 lasers.

The results

The results from Tixel reveal in tighter firmer, younger looking skin. Lines and wrinkles are filled out, superficial sun spots and thread veins are reduced, skin looks firmer and tighter. As a suitable method for acne scar treatment, patients have reported seeing that scars heal as the skin is smoothed revealing a glowing complex.

Aftercare

With Tixel treatment, the discomfort of treatment and the recovery period is kept to an absolute minimum. For the patient to achieve the best result possible, it is advised to give up smoking as this may result in diminished effects.

There may be micro-scabs a few days after treatment. Some results will be seen immediately, but improvement continues up to 3 to 6 months after treatment. Patients should undergo 3-5 sessions for best results, followed by top-up sessions every few years.
